I am honours graduate of Sheffield University, with a teaching qualification and many years' experience of teaching literacy skills and English as a second language.

I have a Charterhouse Certificate of Competence in Proofreading. I have undertaken additional training with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) in Web Editing and Proofreading and Proofreading Problems.

I have gained particular experience in proofreading and editing academic and business documents for non-native speakers of English.
